About this event

Join us at the Ebbsfleet Summer Fair on 11th July for a fun, hands-on “Learn to Fix / Fix” cycling workshop, organised by the Ebbsfleet Development Corporation as part of the national Big Bike Revival programme.

Whether you’re new to cycling or haven’t ridden in years, this friendly session will help you get back on your bike with confidence. Our experienced mechanics will guide you through simple, practical skills to keep your bike safe and ready to ride—or help fix issues on the day.

Free basic bike safety checks and minor fixes
Learn how to fix a puncture
Adjust brakes and gears
Tips on bike maintenance and safe riding
Advice on cycling locally and getting back into riding

This is a relaxed, drop-in activity suitable for all ages—ideal for families, beginners, and anyone wanting to build confidence with their bike.

There’s no cost to take part – your place is fully funded by Cycling UK as part of The Big Bike Revival programme.

Only the event organiser and Cycling UK will email you, and for limited reasons.

As you might expect, you’ll receive event reminders and relevant event information. In the weeks after the event, you’ll also be sent two short surveys and four emails with tips to keep you cycling. That’s it.
