About

A series of adults Learn to Ride sessions taught by professional and supportive instructors.

These small groups sessions are designed to teach you the basics of cycling independently, in a fun, supportive atmosphere. We have secured a traffic and pedestrian free area of the car park, smooth tarmac yay!

Whether you have never cycled before or you have as a child but not for a long time since, these sessions will help build skills and confidence.

Sign up for one or ideally both sessions for the best chance of success.

In line with UK law, helmets are recommended but not compulsory.
Please let us know if you need to borrow a bike and a helmet below.
We have 3 bikes available to lend.

What’s the cost?

There’s no cost to take part – your place is fully funded by Cycling UK as part of The Big Bike Revival programme.

How we’ll contact you

Only the event organiser and Cycling UK will email you, and for limited reasons.

As you might expect, you’ll receive event reminders and relevant event information. In the weeks after the event, you’ll also be sent two short surveys and four emails with tips to keep you cycling. That’s it.

In return for providing FREE events, surveys help Cycling UK evaluate your experience and they help us access future funding. Your details are safe and you can opt out at any time. For more details, please read our privacy policy.
