About

A gentle family ride suitable for children and adults that can ride with good control of their bikes.
We will take in a loop of the park on some easy tracks around the Lakes and head out to the cyclepaths of Panattoni park, before returning. Flat or a very gentle grade on cycle paths.

The tracks around the lakes are gravel and can be bumpy in some places.

Estimated pedalling time 1hr

Arrive by 2.20pm for ride briefing at 2.30pm

There’s no cost to take part – your place is fully funded by Cycling UK as part of The Big Bike Revival programme.

How we’ll contact you

Only the event organiser and Cycling UK will email you, and for limited reasons.

As you might expect, you’ll receive event reminders and relevant event information. In the weeks after the event, you’ll also be sent two short surveys and four emails with tips to keep you cycling. That’s it.

How to take part

It's best if you register in advance for this free event to secure your place, but you can also turn up on the day to see if there's space.

What to bring

A working bike (see the Dr Bike we are running beforehand if you need some minor adjustments. 11 - 2pm Dr Bike
A drink, not fizzy ideally
A snack.
Suncream
Sun Cream (we can but hope right?)
Clothing for the weather
