About

We are so excited to be running our first Thanet Coast Project and Birdwise bike ride from Wheelability Bike Project in Minnis Bay to Reculver. Tony from Thanet Coast Project and the Birdwise team will guide us on the beaches to learn more about the seashore and birds on our beautiful coastline. The ride will start at Wheelability bike project where you will be able to borrow fully accessible bikes for the ride and we will stop for tea in Reculver.
The Wheelability team will be able to check any bikes over before the ride.
This will be a ride experience not to be missed.

What’s the cost?

There’s no cost to take part – your place is fully funded by Cycling UK as part of The Big Bike Revival programme.

How we’ll contact you

Only the event organiser and Cycling UK will email you, and for limited reasons.

As you might expect, you’ll receive event reminders and relevant event information. In the weeks after the event, you’ll also be sent two short surveys and four emails with tips to keep you cycling. That’s it.

In return for providing FREE events, surveys help Cycling UK evaluate your experience and they help us access future funding. Your details are safe and you can opt out at any time. For more details, please read our privacy policy.
