Ideal for adult beginners, improvers or returners, you can expect to join a small group with like-minded others. Go at your own pace, cycle on pathways, off-road tracks and quite roads. Learn where to cycle locally and pick up route planning tips. Build confidence and practise skills. Sessions are led by trained leaders; rides are short, start in the community and usually include a break. More
Learn to Ride
Ideal for adult beginners, improvers and returners, you can expect to master a range of skills. Learn how to balance, look over your shoulder, use your brakes and gears, cycle around objectives, pass people and road positioning. Sessions take place in quiet closed-off spaces and are led by experienced instructors. More
Fix
Experienced mechanics will check your bike to ensure it’s safe to ride. They might include one or two minor repairs such as: replacing brake cables and pads, indexing and adjusting gears, checking chains for wear and lubrication, pumping up tyres and fixing punctures. A maximum of 20 minutes is FREE, recommendations are provided for more advanced repairs. Events are often pop-up and in community locations. More
Learn to Fix
If you are looking for basic maintenance tips and tailored advice from experienced mechanics, this is for you. Learn how to pump up tyres, lubricate a chain, change brake pads or fix a puncture. Pick up tips on cleaning and checking your cycle for wear and tear. Sessions might take place in a workshop or an indoor space with access to tools. More
