WHO IS THE RIDE SUITABLE FOR
This ride is mainly traffic free and includes paths through 4 parks with short sections on quiet roads. It suits anyone who wants to gain confidence cycling with a group or anyone who wants to try out new routes.

ARRIVAL TIMES
Please arrive at 9.20 to meet each other and check over bikes before we set off at 9.30
BORROWING A BIKE
We have bikes & helmets available to borrow for free.
OUR ROUTE
We will cycle to The Museum of Liverpool on the waterfront for a hot drink and a look around the Hartley’s Huts - small hexagonal shelters for dock workers of the last century.
We will stop for a hot drink and a snack nearby.
REFRESHMENTS ☕️🍰🥘
We'll be stopping for refreshments part way through the ride.

There’s no cost to take part – your place is fully funded by Cycling UK as part of The Big Bike Revival programme.
How we’ll contact you
Only the event organiser and Cycling UK will email you, and for limited reasons.
As you might expect, you’ll receive event reminders and relevant event information. In the weeks after the event, you’ll also be sent two short surveys and four emails with tips to keep you cycling. That’s it.

How to take part
It's best if you register in advance for this free event to secure your place, but you can also turn up on the day to see if there's space.
What to bring
💦 A bottle of water to stay hydrated.
🧤🦺 Clothes suitable for the weather - layers are good.
🚲 👍🏾 Bike in good working order with tyres pumped up.
🛞 A spare inner tube so you don't delay the ride if you have a puncture. If you don't have one please visit a bike shop to buy one.
